Electronic Brachytherapy system

The Xoft eBx is the only FDA cleared Electronic Brachytherapy system and a leading-edge technology that utilizes an isotope-free miniaturized X-ray source to apply radiation directly to the lesion. The treatment is non-invasive and painless.

The Axxent System may be used for APBI in the treatment of early-stage breast cancer, for irradiation in Endometrial, Cervical and Rectum cancer treatment and provides dermatologists the option to treat NMSC patients with radiation therapy in a standard exam room eliminating any construction or room design investment.

This system uses some applicators like: Cylinder, Tandem & Ovoid for Brachytherapy application and Baloon for IORT & APBI application.

IORT option is another capability of the Xoft^® Axxent^® Electronic Brachytherapy (eBx^®) System^®.
